Can I fix my Inglis washing machine spin cycle myself?

My washing machine is only a few (3 maybe?) years old. The spin cycle works, however, over the last year or so the laundry has not been spun dry enough. I end up wringing them by hand. It only happened occasionally before, but has begun to do it that way almost always. Surely there is some way to fix this myself...
