Can someone recommend a jaw-dropping book for a tenth grader?

My Sister's Keeper is supposed to be a really good book. I've never read it myself, but I've heard really good things about it and I'm thinking of reading it ASAP. I've never heard of any of the other books, though, so I can't help you there. Good luck anyways, and have fun reading!
