Am i safe at 1.6 ohms?

I have a MTX 1000xd amp that produces 700w at 4 ohms and 1000w at 2 ohms. I have 4 svc mtx t5500, all in proted boxes, 1/0 gauge wire and a 2 farad cap. With all the subs connected, 2 in each box, im running 1.6ohms at the amp, am i safe? what should i set my gain to? i have both + and - from sub A going to sub B then to the terminals in box, same in both boxes.
