Fay is not a hurricane, but a tropical storm. Fay is is not expected to become a hurricane either as it is rather disorganized, and due to drift back over land again. It will mainly just be a prolific rainmaker with the winds having little if any impact. You'll be just fine, unless you live in a flood prone area, in which case you may need to go to higher ground due to the heavy rainfall.
