Was picking Biden for VP the 1,000th paper cut for BHO?

I can't help but wonder what the decision making process looked like up close to come up with Biden as the VP. He's entrenched in the old school hackneyed politics that Obama professes to want to "change". How does that work now? Perhaps people will begin to see that there was never any substance to Obama's cutesy BS about "hope and change".
