Why do people think ethnic women are always exotic but white women can't be?

Please, for how long have white women erted that blondes have more fun? All of the cosmetic commercials feature white women, and products are especially designed for their tatses/skin type. Just because society has gotten tired of plain Jane is no reason to get all antsy.
