How do I make a Black Velvet (Guiness & Cider) ?

How do I prepare this drink? What Guiness beer should I use? Stout or Draught? What's the difference? and How to I mix these? Every time I get them at the bar they are perfectly seperated (Guiness on top and cider on bottom) but when I tried to make one at home, both drinks just mixed. HELP
