Am i doing well enough in high school to get into good colleges?? (like UPenn, NYU, colubia, UCLA, UM, etc..)?
I was born and brought up in america, and went to school here until the eighth grade. Unfortunately due to family reasons, i had to study in india for 9th grade and 10th grade with the ICSE syllabus. I got a 76% for 9th grade and 83% for 10th grade (please keep in mind that the ICSE system is very much different from the american system in terms of difficulty---a 75% is an 'A' grade). Now I am coming back to america to finish my junior and senior years of high school. I loaded my summer with courses from Johns Hopkins' CTY and courses from Educere online. I plan on taking AP calculus ab/bc(haven't decided yet), AP biology, AP U.S. history, AP chemistry, Language Arts II Honors, and French 4. am i on the right track? do i still have hope? will colleges know that education in india is harder than education in america (but in my opinion, less effective)??
