Ugh... my cold??

ive had this cold since friday night. cough, sneeze, and i blow through tissue boxes in about 5 minutes. i need to got to school this weeks since i have 8 tests in 3 days and if i miss one im screwed. but my cold is sooo annoying! i have to get up every 5 minutes to get a tissue and bf always stares at me like im gross. its embarring. ive been taking those sudafed little red pills that u swallow. (doesnt really help) at night i put on a dehumidifier and rub that vaporizing stuff on my chest. anyone have any good medicines or tips??thanks

Adderall, Accutane, and Yaz!! PLEASE HELP!?

So i've been on adderall for 6 months and it has helped SO much with my add i'm able to finish my homework, clean, and do things efficiently when asked. The problem is i visited my derm. about acne and he suggests accutane because everything else has failed to treat my cystic acne. SO while taking accutane women are required to use B.C... so i started taking YAZ a week ago today and i feel like my adderall is not working anymore.. i hate to say it but it feels like i'm going into a "coma" state. I come home from college go to sleep wake up for dinner go back to sleep wake up in the morning go to school and repeat the cycle. on top of that my acne seems to me worse than ever!!! I'm getting it all over my chin which is rare! SO i'm wondering if yaz is canceling out my adderall and causing acne? I also start Accutane in 2 weeks! and i'm scared that YAZ, ADDERALL, and ACCUTANE might damage my liver.. even possible kill me. I have talked to both my doctor and derm about it and they say i should be fine. But when they say "should" doesn't really ure me that i will? I just want to know what others think or if they've taken all of these at the same time?!

Rat over a year old suddenly gets mean...?

ok so I have 2 rats that are brothers, they're about a year old give or take a month or so. They've lived together their entire lives. Lately one of the boy's, Slip, has been acting weird. 2 weeks ago we though his brother Rufus cut his foot on something in the cage so we separated them till he healed (3 days). then we noticed after we placed the 2 back together Slip was getting into a defensive mood and would stand on his hind legs trying to ward off Rufus. we didn't think much of it because they play a bunch and never have we heard them fight or even squeak at each other. I mean they dont even do the dominate power grooming thing with each other. they'll usually will stare at each other for like 30 seconds then go p out in a corner together and all is well. Well last few days we've been seeing a little more action between the brothers nothing harmful just fighting over who gets what box for the night to sleep in or one would steal they others Lima bean. but what threw me off is last night we took out ALL of our boys to have free time on the bed. that's 6 adults, which we NEVER have issues with free time between any of them. they all know each other quite well. but Slip started getting really pissed when everyone got around him. he'd push them away or swing at them. if we tried to get near him he's turn around and act like he was going to attack us. and at some point he took 2 big chunks out of his brother Rufus, which was weird because we didn't hear any fighting or squealing. just a bunch of blood slathered all over our bed. so now we're sure Slip injured Rufus' foot 2 weeks ago and we know he did the damage to Rufus' back and front leg. so we've separated them so Rufus can heal, and Slip can't harm anyone else. My question(s) is, 1. WHY would a cage/litter mate of a year old suddenly become so mean to everyone and everything that comes into his path? and 2. Rufus' front leg that got injured last night swelled up to a pretty good size, we cleaned the wounds dressed them with neosporin and let him be, he's not favoring it, he's walking normal but it 5 times bigger then it used to be. I know i know.. go to the vet, but my vet said unless the wound hasn't clotted, which it has, or he stops walking on it that she has no need to really see him. So should i just keep alternating warm compresses and neosporin with warm compresses and Honey to help heal him up or is there something better for a home remedy that I'm not thinking of?

What do I need to do to become a doctor?

High school grades only matter until you get into college. The better the grades, the better the schools available. Extra-curriculars are good if they include honor societies or volunteer/charity work. While you are in high school, you should look into volunteering at the local hospital or even nursing home. That will look good on applications. Bachelors degrees with pre-med concentrations are the way to go and then you will have to take a test to be able to apply to med school called the MCAT. Look it up, find a study guide at the local library to see what you're up against when the time comes. Everything is pretty basic until Med school where the cles become harder and involve more time studying. The med school cles are more career focused and usually become more interesting because you will actually use lots of the information being presented. Get good grades and study hard in undergrad (pre-bachelor's degree) and you will have a better chance of getting into med school. You may even have more and better choices. For a bachelor's degree, a state school is ok. You could even start at community college and get your ociate's degree in Allied health or whatever pre-med degree they offer along the way to save money.

Which do I replace, amp or speakers?

I have a 2200 watt amp, and two 1100w speakers, the speakers are 300 rms. I have a 2 farad capacitor, my power cables are 4 gauge, and the speakerwire is 8 gauge. The speakers will "clip" after a few minutes, and not produce any sound from my subs for a few more minutes, then turn back on. So, is the problem my amp, or my speakers? I only have enough money to replace one, and don't want to get it wrong, all the techs I go to want to charge for troubleshooting, and won't give me an answer

make sure that you keep him in a smaller area. don't let him just roam around the place. when we got my puppy we kept her in the kitchen. we also carried her up the stairs, rather than make her walk. let hiim play outside a lot. make sure that he learns the difference between outside and inside. make sure that he gets enough sleepy time and also make sure that when he's outside and playing that he gets enough shade and water. i'm not sure if this will help, but this is how i took care of my puppy. she was a different breed though.

However, it sounds like you feel you are alone, or do not have any aide or istance. You mentioned a step-son, so i ume your husband is available; use him! When possible, parenting is best when it is a partnership venture. If he is not available, then try to take advantage of a councilor. You need someone with whom you can share your frustrations and realize that you are not alone.

It depends on the machine the person has. If it is a standard home sewing machine, you can't do that. Some commercial machines (if you're taking it to an embroidery shop or tailor) can do that. It might be a better idea to have someone sew it on by hand for you. That's always possible, even if a machine won't do it. Then again, there is always fabric glue!

Sounds like claustrophobia to me. Its hard to know for sure why these irrational fears suddenly start happening to people & it may just be something that pes. You could maybe try sitting beside a window so you can look out, instead of looking around you at the people. That may help. Also, take a paper bag with you onto the plane in case you do start to panic again. When you start feeling panicked again, take the paper bag out & 'cup' the opening of the bag around your mouth. Breathe deeply in & out of the bag for a few minutes til you stop panicking. If you're really worried about the next flight, i'd suggest seeing your doctor before you go.

It will certainly be an emotional time and the entire family will have to bond as a family unit at that time just for the strength alone. If and when he does decide to meet up with his sperm donor you may want to there also, if he is comfortable with this. I ran into a curb with my car sideways?

I was driving carelessly, and I took a sharp turn to the right. my card skidded sideways to the left and my front left tire hit the curb. The damage is that 1/3 of the edge of the rim is scratched badly, the tire looks flat when it's actually not (I checked the pressure on both front tires and they were the same, 30 of some pressure unit :P), and the car moves forward straight only when the steering wheel is slightly turned to the right. HELP! Why wont my rabbit eat??!!?

Its been a few days tat my rabbit,Bella, is not eat any thing!!!! She eats peddlets tat are made of timthy hay. We give her baby peeled carrats and cilantro and piesces of peeled apple.! Before she stopped eating she used to it all of this and then one day she just stopped eating... Sometimes we let her go outside in the backyard and let her run around for an hour a day. The backyard used to be dirt but now we put concrete on EVERYTHING and We think she got sick by eating something outside(when there used to be dirt) But we dont know wat happened to her and now when we give her food and she dousnt even look at her food.... we would take her to a vet but without money we cant do ANYTHING!! so please tell me wat you think i should do.. They announced a patch back in January that would allow you to increase your created superstar's stats without having to go through career mode over and over and over and over. Back in January, they said it was coming soon, about 4 months later and nothing, we got two packs of DLC with new wrestlers, which is cool, but I want the patch so that I can increase my CAW's stats without having to take each one through career mode a dozen times, you can only do one at a time you can't start a career, end that one, start another one, then go back to one with the previous superstar, the stats get erased, that sucks, plus, once you get all the titles, you are locked on the title path of the final title you won, Im stuck on the US title so I'm constantly fighting the same guys, Umaga, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Festus, those same guys over and over. I took my CAW through career so many times and I got him up to level 85, but there are other CAWS I'd like to beef up but that would take forever because again, I can only do one at a time. Does anyone know when the patch is coming?

Question about buying rims?

I am a college student and purchased a used 2000 Volvo S40. My service man told me (and showed me) that the rims are somewhat bent. The previous owner must have lived in a city with terrible potholes or something. Anyway, my ride is not smooth, particularly at low speeds. Is there any place on-line I can find used rims (ones that aren't bent or defective in any way. I took my maiden name and added it to my middle name. But they made a mistake at work and they hyphened my last name. My accountant said as long as my social security card number matches my pay check it doesn't matter what the name is on my pay check. My non driver id has my First Middle Initial and Married last name on it. I am worried if i have to show a pay stub they will give me a hard time saying why does your Id have one last name but your pay stub two lasts names. Allergic to aspen bedding or the guinea pigs?

I adopted two guinea pigs on the 15th of july. After adopting them I didn't notice any allergic reactions to them(but I wasn't lookin for any for that matter). After having the guinea pigs for a week I bought new aspen shavings and I new bed. From what I remember I cleaned the cage & placed aspen bedding the same day I got my bed. That night I could not sleep, finally I gave up sleeping in the bed and moved to the floor(it was a new bed-just not used to it?) After that I was ok sleeping, it would just take a while(Yes again never noticed any allergic reactions). for that week the 22-27, i spent a good 5 hours during the day with the guinea pigs/in the room(not including sleeping). Saturday morning I woke up with a nettle rash all over(and it was CRAZY!) I took bynedril and after a few hours it was gone. I went to work and when I got home within 30 min of being in my room(that's when i noticed) I was getting a nettle rash again & my throat was swelling up(I had troubles breathing/swallowing/talking.) I took more Bynedril which did not get rid of any symtoms, the nettle rash became worse but the throat didn't. Sunday morning I woke up with a face/body in nettle rash. My lips look like they were just punched. I went to the doctor and he said it was the prolonged exposure to the guinea pigs/I shouldn't be around them or even in the same room because It was a serious allergic reaction. My parents freaked & sent them back to lady from the rescue we got them from until we figured out what it was. they got rid of them sunday night at 630. my hives went away. but by 730 today(monday) I was getting a nettle rash on my back(wasn't really that bad at all). Would it be a reaction to the guinea pigs or aspen shaving? some left over aspen shaving was in my room today and when i went in there I only recieved a headache (maybe from left over urine fumes from guinea pigs?). From other guinea pig owners please tell me what you think. should I try to take them back & buy different bedding and see what happens(yet that may be a risk of sending me to the hospital?) Or should I just forget about owning a guinea pig? (my parents will not let me keep them anywhere other than my room and i cannot rely on anyone to clean the cage for me/take care of them) THANK YOU!!!!!

My dog barks at everything...how can i make it stop?

my dog is 1 year and 3 months old and she literally barks at everything, noises, the t.v, anything that that has animals or animal sounds, plus she barks at reflections in mirrors and windows and even when i say no, she will stop for a few seconds and start again, i know she is protective but it is getting to the point where it is horrible, she wakes me up early in the morning by barking, and it is getting to the point where i cant even watch tv anymore without her barking! oh and i like country music and sugarland is one of my favorite bands, apparently she doesn't like jennifer nettles voice because she does nothing but howl when i listen to it! is frustrating...oh and she is a small dog, a mix of chihuahua, wiener dog, and pekingese, so her bark is really sharp and loud! she actually is a quick learning dog, and for the most part she listens really well, any other thing i tell her no to, she listens but idk what it is about the barking! is there anything i can do?

Cold sore not blistering?

2 days ago, i felt a tingling on my upper lip. I thought it may have been a pimple so I put some acne cream on it. The next day I woke up and saw the spot began to grow and get more red. It hurt to touch and to move my lip around a lot. I've never had a cold sore in my life and was surprised to think I had one. I started putting Lysine+ on it the second i thought it was a cold sore. It hadnt formed in to a blister yet and there was no head to it. I guess it is a cold sore, but just hasnt blistered yet. Anywho its been 2 days and i was wondering if there was anything I could do to help it heal. It hasnt blistered so i can't pop it... maybe it won't blister at all if i keep applying this cream to it and ice it? any advice on the matter?

Can't tell if my rights are being violated?

A fellow co-worker recently accused me of coming on to him, however I never did. My supervisors brought this issues straight up to corporate and they threw down a decision and so did the exec of the office and now I have to wait till my supervisors throw there's in. I have been granted my vacation time but have noticed that I can't log into the net work (not sure if I was locked out or not yet). I have asked to see what exactly have I been accused of and I was told that I can't see that, and also I was also told that I can't be alone with any man or woman, and to not breath a word of this to anyone. But they are symphathizing with my accuser and have left me feeling vulnerable and alone. I never touched the man or did anything to him. On the chain of command I am at a higher level. Is it legal what they are doing? I feel like I am being denyed my rights. Oh and I am a gay female so there is no way I would be interested in him. Help anyone have advice. Thanks.

Would a pontoon cruise be a fun bridal shower?

I want to take 15 or so people on a large boat cruise around a huge lake. It's a very popular lake and it's huge. Do you think this is a good idea? The boat renter let's you bring your own drinks and food. There is a grill on the pontoon. Do you think it would be rude to ask people to bring a side dish for a potluck, if I bring the meat to grill and buns. What about drinks? I probably should supply the beer, wine, water, etc. Any thoughts? Any thoughts on decorations or games on a pontoon?

I'm in college but I'm not allowed to have sleepovers because my parents said if I do they wont pay my tuition?

I am an 18 year old girl in my freshman year of college. I attend Manhattan College which is in the Bronx in NYC. My boyfriend goes to Pace University which is in downtown Manhattan. We are about an hour subway ride away from each other, therefore we spend weekends together. Because of the high cost of the subway, and also the fact that on weekends we are often out late it is far more convenient for either my boyfriend to stay in my dorm or me to stay in his dorm. We have been together for a year now, and my parents know we have and are okay with it. Mind you, they are not okay with us sleeping in the same bed. I live in a single which means I have a whole dorm room to myself, so it is not bothering anyone else if my boyfriend sleeps over. Technically it is against my schools rules to have opposite gender sleepovers but the rule is not enforced and the RAs tell us as long as our guests behave it is not a problem. My mom says that if my boyfriend sleeps over it is against school rules, even after explaining all that i just explained she still is not okay with it. On the other hand, at Pace (my boyfriends school) it is perfectly allowed to have guests of the opposite gender, which my parents are aware of but still say it is against their morality rules. I tried to explain to her that if we are out in the city until 1 am it is to much for my boyfriend to have to come all the way back to the bronx, drop me off, and then go back an hour by himself. It is a waste of money and it is dangerous. I am upset about this because I feel as though it is extremely unfair that my parents are controlling my life all the way from home. Over the weekend there were at least 5 girls in my hall who had their boyfriends sleeping over...everyone was going to breakast the next morning and I didn't feel like being the 3rd wheel. Also, we got back to my school at 1130 and by that time it was very late. Again, it just made things easier for him to stay at my school. When i told my parents this, they freaked out, didn't talk to me for 3 days and told me I have to find student loans by friday, which is impossible. I told my parents that this is what college kids do, we go out, hang out and then we have sleepovers...and the response I got back from my mother was " College kids have ,that's what they do, they don't sleep in the same beds"...I couldn't believe she said that...I would understand more if she had a problem with me having , Although she does know that I practice safe , and she loves and trusts my boyfriend. She still isn't talking to me, and neither is my father. I don't know what to do... Is it me? or is it my parents?...Also I should add that I have never once gone out to a bar/club in college, My boyfriend and I both don't drink or smoke, we are honors students...we just like to go out on weekends to explore the city.
